Stream of Mnemosyne – First pieces

I have begun to lay down the fabrics for the stream – it was to have been my original starting point, but the face of Yaga called out.   I am starting with strips of fabric which are either recycled or gifts from others, ie nothing new – seems fitting for depicting water that enables memories. I think the laying of fabric will take some days, the stitching will take a lot longer, as you can see it runs the width of the whole:
