A weaver appears

Slowly, slowly this one is unfolding,  I am really taking my time, however, the first creature has arrived.  I suspect she may be bringing many friends with her.

The spider is made from some silk that I hand-dyed many, many moons ago:

    Is that Robert the Bruce’s spider? She is surely powerful enough to have been his inspiration. She’s also quite beautiful.

    I took a picture of a web for my blog the other day, and I keep seeing webs everywhere- they are such amazing constructions and always have me in awe. I am learning to sew. It is exciting for me as I always used to be put off it, but now I am ready.
