Oooh look what happens

when you take some once-dyed pieces of cotton, tin cans, eucalyptus leaves, vinegar and a dye pot which contains liquid obtained from steeping yet more eucalyptus for days on end:

I am more than happy with how these have turned out – I can see lots of ‘pictures’ in them already.ย  Needless to say, there are more bits wrapped and soaking in the dyepot – I doubt they will be the last.

    you got great results. i have been doing this type of dying for a while and just can’t stop. it’s quite addicting.
