It’s oh so quiet, shh, shh …….

It’s that time of year – hibernation – stillness – stitching continues – pictures – not words (except to say the light is not good – the colours are much richer and deeper than they appear).

Wonderful ripples of colour and texture – I want to touch – which is always a good sign in my book. You have been busy indeed – obviously hibernation isn’t slowing your creative juices.

  2. beautiful and so inspiring…Would love to run my hands softly over it and feel the love and prayers you have put into this piece…

One could get lost in there! …Wonderful. I wish I had the time to do the same…:-)

Looking brilliant, so pleased that you’ve been stitching so much. I adored seeing your work and being able to feel the cloth when I visited earlier this year, will have to come back to see the finished piece next year πŸ™‚

Somehow I missed this one when you posted it. I love the layered colours. The splashes of yellow gold are perfect against the moody backdrop. The area of dense stitching you show in the first two photos really creates contrast and gives the work depth.

    Thank you all πŸ™‚

It’s like a fantasy landscape – the way to Narnia.
