This is the conversation taking place in my Khadi journal.
My original spread:
appears we have a sense of humour in common :).
Jill- was a fun, fun post,it just clicked for me- keep me posted on any more posts like this one
you’ve just sparked all sorts of ideas for me. i have one nephew who is a superb artist and has already won several prizes. i would love to do a journal with him, so we would each do something and send it back and forth from nashville TN to flagstaff AZ. i think he would be very excited about a project like that. i’ll let you know how it goes.
What a delightful set of happy images. Thank you for sharing it.
There must be quite a bit of trust between the two of you to be working over each other’s art. I am impressed not only with the spread but with the process.
These are genuinely feel good images. What a wonderful project to be working on Jill.
What a gorgeous project – lots of fun and such delicate colours – I love the one of the ship.
What a beautifu; concept….I’m hoarding this one to try with my students!
oh do try it with them, I would love to see the results when you do 🙂

Jill, your work is just beautiful….love the texture, colors, story. I checked out the maps you listed the url for and love them. I was just about to start on my map, and this site truly confirmed some of the ideas I had thought about. Thank you. Barbara (Lavenda Kakabell)
Gorgeous, lush imagery, land of dreaming indeed.
